In Hungary, mopeds are not registered. I even noticed a trend where Hungarians often cut off the end of the fender with a plate holder. Mine had a reflective light screwed on there  In those years, the Polish moped plate looked like in the link below. The first two letters indicate the voivodeship. They were made of various materials: steel sheet, aluminum sheet, thin pressed plastic reinforced with plywood or thick plastic with welded letters. You can buy such a board used or order a replica (interestingly, in Poland this officially carries the risk of imprisonment  )

PS. As a curiosity, I'm write down what may seem strange to a foreigner. Your moped is from 1980, this year the most common green plates were issued... which were officially introduced only in 1983. Some offices issued the old pattern as below. But this is just a curiosity, in 1980 they were most often green.
