I'm in my 70's always been a biker.

Nowadays I prefer to show my bikes at Steam and Vintage shows.

Last year I exhibited a VeloSolex, peddle start, but decided this year to go back to a Kick-start motorcycle. The guy I had the Solex from was selling the Romet this year so I bought it from him, Its Country of origin was not important. Tidy bike everything works.

Yes I know my Romet was destined for Hungary, how it got to the UK I don't know.

Not been able to post a photo yet, but will keep trying.

Well I finally remembered how to do it.

You can see the paint shade varies, I need to know what colour it was.

Colour must be something from here:

It's FSO/Polski Fiat colour palette. Probably Italian Fiat had the same.

If you can buy Mipa paints in your area and their system is the same as here, you will find the color number on the label.

However, I don't think it's worth painting, the original looks good even though it's faded in places

Where do I find "Save drafts"? I've had to start again. I did save them but can' find them.

Anyway.

The finish is not bad just rusty patches that have gone down to the metal. If I got the correct Green paint I would just tidy them up.

If I did repaint it all, it would have to be in Purple which is my favourite colour.
Have a laugh - giggle at me at previous years exhibits at Steam and Vintage shows, with which the Romet will be used at instead.

yes, postman. It was a bit of a joke, but they used to often (especially in the countryside) use mopeds.
