Sorry that I am posting in English but 'Google translate' is rubbish. ( If anybody who can translate would like to do so and then re-post then thank you)

This is my Romet Komar 2352W that I am restoring. I bought it after having too many beers. Romet's are very rare in England so this is a fun project. I want to have one of the very few (if any) Komar's on the English roads. There are a few parts missing and others that need replacing but I know I can get most of them from MB-Z.NET but if I am having problem finding parts then maybe someone on this forum can help me.
I have got the engine running and it does so very well. It has only done 1850km since new. The next job is the electrics, which are a big mess, if anybody has a wiring diagram for them then that would help me lots. I will post more updates as the restoration goes on. Thanks Dave
If engine in your Komar is good - you have really less problems with renovation.

Can you tell something about electrics in your Komar? Have you horn under front light? What is broken? Electric diagrams are in google without any problems, but... Maybe we search and solve problems?

In this link is electric diagram to Komar: http://www.agmot.pl/photos/0/24/e7a3a6831e.jpg . Of course in Polish, but we can help you, no problem Wink.
Thank you for the link. I think my problem is with the 'wyjscia z slnika' (engine output). No wires are connected to it at the moment.
Here you have two wires - blue and red. I don't remember which is from front - you must unscrew left lid of engine to see.

Blue - is from ignition. Red - lighting coils. Have you electrial installation from front light to cylinder (around)? In original installation wires have the same colours.

It solves this problem, or not? Wink
The wires I have are blue and yellow. I will have another play with it tomorrow and see what happens. Thanks for reply
Blue and yellow, but near a cylinder or in engine?
You can see the wires on this photo but at the moment they are not connected to the engine

OK. So we could do it in another way...

Can you take a photo wires inside front light? Not wires to front bulb, but wires from engine to main switch. I see in my Romet Kadet where blue and red (in your situation yellow) are connected - I think, that it could be helped for you.
Hi,
It is very rare that you find this type of moped in the UK. Do you know how it got to the UK and when?
I will be very interested to find out more about that.
Hope your project is a success and I will be able to see you on the street one day.
Kind regards from Winchester,
D.
All I know is it came to the UK with a gentleman who moved here from Hungary quite a few years ago. He sold it to a friend of mine who then just stored it in his garage until I bought it two weeks ago after having too many beers. LOL
Thanks... It is from Hungary ''it sounds more like'' Smile do you have any paper work which will give you a chance to register the moped?
By the way it looks nice… previous owner has looked after him.

I will wait for more pictures from your renovation process.
All best
D.
The only paper work I have is a NOVA that proves all Import duties have been paid plus a bill of sale . This gives
Me a big chance of getting it registered. My first challenge is getting an M.O.T (certificate of road worthiness) on it. After that it should be less of a challenge to get it registered. I do not think that it has been well looked after, I think any work on it has been 'just to keep it running'

So how is your progress going with Komar . Any luck with Mot and registration in Uk ?
